Dr. Don Tran was born and raised in Southern California.  He received his undergraduate degree in Biology from the University of California Riverside.  He then pursued his Doctorate in Optometry from the Nova Southeastern University College of Optometry in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

He gained experience in primary eye care, cataract and LASIK co-management, as well as contact lens fitting at his externship training which includes the Malcolm Randall VA in Gainesville, FL, Shands Eye Hospital at the University of Florida, Braverman Eye Center in Hollywood, FL as well as the North Miami Beach Primary Eye Clinic at NSU.
